Biography
Jim Phillips joined Colony Hardware in 2003 after graduating from Stonehill College. Over his years at Colony he has learned all facets of the business working in Sales, Operations and Purchasing. In 2017 Jim took on the role of Director of Training and Development; in that role Jim worked to help create and manage Colony’s Distribution Leadership Program as well as develop and manage Colony’s Acquisition Integration Team. In 2020 Jim was promoted to Chief Talent Officer for Colony Hardware which will allow him to work with the rest of the leadership team at Colony to properly combine the business strategy with the people strategy. Jim and his wife Julie live in Madison, CT and have two great children Rowan and Cora. In his spare time he enjoys soccer, golf, basketball and football.
