Biography
Michael Mantis is President & CEO of Fasteners Inc./Southwestern Supply based in Las Vegas, NV, internet retailer ToolUp.com and Professional Contractors Supply with locations in San Diego, Hayward, and San Francisco, CA. Mike grew up in the business which was started by his father, Keith E. Mantis, in 1987.
Like many second-generation business leaders, Mike has worked in all areas of the company learning the business from the ground up. Over the years he has worked as janitor, stocker/order puller, shipping and receiving, inside sales, purchasing, accounts receivable and accounts payable, and general accounting.
He was named President & CEO in 2020 as part of a planned succession.
Mike earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. He has also attended numerous continuing professional education programs at leading universities including Texas A&M University’s Read Center for Distribution Research and Education, the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
Mike is married and lives in Las Vegas with his wife, Jennifer, daughter, Juliana, and son Alexander. Mike is an avid world traveler and sports fan. He also enjoys pistol, rifle and shotgun shooting as well as race car driving.
Fasteners, Inc./Southwestern Supply joined Evergreen in September 1994. They were ranked as the #1 member in volume for eight consecutive years (2003-2010) and earned Member of the Year – Tier One in 2007.
Mike is currently serving his second term as a Board Member of Evergreen Marketing Group. During his first term on the Board (2012-2016), Mike served as the youngest Chairman in Evergreen’s history, at age 31.
